Kroos, critical with Germany: "They could play better"

Toni Kroos is having a holiday after a busy start to the season. The player resigned from the German national team after being defeated against England because he wanted to extend his career as long as possible.

Despite being in Spain, the midfielder is following the German side from afar. Real Madrid legend is making his voice heard, as he is giving his opinion on the 'Einfach mal Luppen' podcast.

"They have to keep possession to win a World Cup. I know how difficult it is to play against Spain, from my own experience, but they can do much better.

"It was hard to get rid of the pressure from our opponents. I still think they are a good team and they know that they can give offer than that," Kroos concluded.
