Borussia Dortmund had Marco Reus to thank for saving them from defeat to Koln as his late goal earned them a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Thomas Tuchel's BVB were looking to maintain the pressure on Bundesliga leaders RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich, but failed to fully capitalise on the former's defeat at Ingolstadt.
Dortmund were themselves undone by one goal as Latvian striker Rudnevs headed in a Jonas Hector free-kick in the 28th minute.
However, Reus popped up to rescue a point by meeting Adrian Ramos' pass and finishing well.
