Koeman said his goodbyes to Messi: "It's still hard to understand"

One after the other, the different members of the Barcelona squad have been saying goodbye to Messi via social media. The club's announcement of his goodbye have caught more than one well off guard.

There was hours of silence, at least until Joan Laporta spoke out on the matter. However, little by little, footballers ended up saying their goodbyes this Friday. Koeman, on the other hand, waited a bit later.

The Barcelona boss decided to leave it until this Saturday to say goobye to whom he considers to be "the best player in the world". Now, Koeman has to survive at Barca without their star man.

"Still hard to understand that you will not play for Barcelona anymore", the Dutchman wrote in a Tweet. "Thanks for everything you have done for our club Leo. I really enjoyed the full season we worked together. I am impressed with your work ethic and desire to win."
