Koeman nearly had a heart-attack! Nguen scored but was offside

Ronald Koeman's Barcelona shivered in their Champions League debut against humble Ferencvaros. Nguen beat Neto with a screamer taking advantage of the defensive lapse of Lenglet and Piqué, but his goal was cancelled for offside.

Koeman trembled, the city of Barcelona trembled. Barcelona would have found themselves down 1-0 early on in the match against Ferenvárosi if it wasn't for a marginal offide.

The visiting player took advantage of the fact that Lenglet and Piqué were not very attentive and beat Neto with a great shot. If he had not been born from an offside position, it would have become one of the best goals of the European day.

To make matters worse, it happened in the early stages of the match, which did more damage to the morale of the hometeam. The defensive lapse could have cost them dearly.

For Ferencvaros, the opposite was true. It was a real morale booster. They had just put one of the best teams in the world on the ropes, even though they are in the doldrums, at their home ground, Camp Nou. Nguen will dream about what would have happened if his goal had been onside.
