There's a rush at Barca to lighten the squad. At least, on Ronald Koeman's part, recently named the new manager of the club.
According to information published in the newspaper 'Sport', the manager has called on the club to speed up to solve the futures of Luis Suárez, Arturo Vidal, Ivan Rakitic, and Samuel Umtiti.
These four players form part of the famous 'clean up' that Koeman is already doing. None of them are in his plans, so he wants them to leave as soon as possible to not further delay the making of the squad.
The 'Messi case' will make any club management quite slow, who have their hands and feet tied until they know what will happen with their star.
Koeman's intention was to even start training without the four unwanted players, although only lightning deals would make Suárez, Vidal, Rakitic, or Umtiti not show up this Monday to start pre-season.
So far, Juventus and the MLS are the destinations that have been most strongly linked for the Uruguayan forward, while the Serie A is strongly bidding for the Chilean and Sevilla for the Croatian. The case of the French CB is, by difference, the one that worries most due to the lack of market because of his injury problems.
