There could be important absences for Chelsea while the season is going on in Willian and Pedro. These two footballer's contracts expire at the end of June and the Premier League side are not thinking of renewing them,
As 'AS' indicated, this Tuesday is the last day for clubs to extend their players' contracts. If Chelsea do not do this, they would have them for the rest of the season.
This means that Pedro and Willian would be free from 30th June despite the competition not ending until the end of July.
They are not the only ones as Ryan Fraser (Bournemouth) and Jeff Hendrick (Burnley) have not extended their contracts either.
David Silva and Claudio Bravo have seen their Man City contracts extended until the end of the season though.
Back to Chelsea, Pedro is very close to joining Roma, who have reportedly already drafted one out, while Willian is looking for a three year deal somewhere.
