Kepa is back. The Spanish goalkeeper, after being knocked off top spot by Edouard Mendy, seems to be Graham Potter's number one. He has started the Premier League matches so far this season and it does not look like it is going to change.

His rise makes him a possible candidate for the Spain squad at the World Cup in Qatar. Luis Enrique has already made it clear in numerous press conference that he is not thinking about his team for the World Cup, although he has also given the impression - based on his most recent decisions - that he would rather play the same team regularly rather than bring in new players like Iago Aspas.
Despite that, Kepa is very likely to make the coach think twice. At the moment, Spain's first choice 'keeper is Athletic Bilbao's Unai Simon, who will also need to make use of his time on the pitch in the coming weeks so that Luis Enrique decides to stick with him. Spain's first World Cup clash is against Costa Rica on 23rd November and it remains to be seen who will be between the sticks.
