There had been numerous reports in Germany that the Guinean midfielder had played his last game for the Bundesliga side in their clash against Schalke on Saturday, with the 22-year-old preparing to seal an early move to Merseyside.
However, RB Leipzig have dismissed this media speculation through a post on their official twitter account, announcing that Keita will remain with them until 30th June 2018, when he will complete his pre-arranged move to Anfield.
"Naby Keita will remain an RB Leipzig player until 30th June 2018. We wish to put the speculation about a January move to Liverpool to bed," read the post.

Jurgen Klopp's side have already agreed a summer deal that could rise to £66.8m for the midfielder, but given the departure of key man Philippe Coutinho, the 'Reds' were reportedly eager to move this deal forward.
Keita was among the scorers as Leipzig moved above Schalke with a 3-1 home victory over the Gelsenkirchen-based outfit on Saturday.
