Karazor, accused of rape, leaves prison after paying 50,000 euros

Stuttgart footballer Atakan Karazor has been provisionally released after paying a 50,000 euro bail set by the courts, allowing him to leave prison.
The player is under investigation by the Court of Instruction number 4 of Ibiza for an alleged crime of sexual assault and in custody since last June, reported Thursday the High Court of Justice of the Balearic Islands (TSJIB).
The First Section of the Provincial Court of the Balearic Islands has modified the procedural situation of the footballer and has notified him this Thursday of an order in which he is remanded in custody on bail of 50,000 euros.
In addition, the court ordered him to appear regularly and prohibited him from approaching and communicating with the victim.
The TSJIB has confirmed that the player has paid bail, although it is not known whether he has already left prison.
The Chamber has also modified in the same sense the procedural situation of the other investigated person in this case, which is being handled by the Juzgado de Instruccion number 4 of Ibiza.
The sexual assault allegedly took place in the early hours of 8th June in a villa near the Cova Santa discotheque, where the alleged assailants were staying, located in the municipality of Sant Josep.
The young woman, who denounced the two men for rape, went to the Ibizan hospital of Can Misses to receive medical assistance and undergo the tests established for victims of sexual aggression.
The two young Germans were arrested the next day in the same villa of Sant Josep.
