Kante picked up the injury during France's World Cup qualifier win over Bulgaria last weekend, and Conte has now confirmed he is set for a spell on the sidelines.
The Chelsea boss says the defensive midfielder will need a scan to determine the extent of the injury, but expects his star man to be out for nearly three weeks.
On Kante, Conte says it's a muscular problem and he could be out for around 20 days but another scan is needed to understand more. #CFC

On Kante and the rest of Chelsea’s injuries, Conte said:
'Bad news. As you know very well we have three injured players.
'[Alvaro] Morata - I hope to have him back very soon, I hope for the next game against Roma.
'[Danny] Drinkwater is progressing well but is not ready yet. We must have patience with him and his calf problem.
'Kante, we are going to do a scan next week to check his situation, if he is improving. But for sure it's a hamstring problem and this is a big loss for us.
'You know very well the importance of Kante in our team. We don't have another player with the same characteristics. We only have Bakayoko and Fabregas available.
'We have to approach seven games in one month so we have to find different solutions, adapt defenders to midfielders.'
