Juventus in talks to renew Dybala

Fabio Paratici, sports director of Juventus, acknowledged to 'Sky Sport' that the club is working to renew Paulo Dybala's contract, which ends on June 30, 2022. However, he said he would be unlikely to raise his salary due to economic worries caused by the pandemic.

Paulo Dybala shone again last season as Cristiano Ronaldo's partner. 17 goals and 14 assists for the Argentinean, who seems to have cemented his place within the Juventus.

The striker's future has been under constant debate. Recently there was talk of a trade with Atletico Madrid for the definitive transfer of Alvaro Morata, but it seems that the plans of the 'bianconeri' are going in another direction.

In the run-up to the Champions League match against Ferencvaros, in which Juventus won a place in the last sixteen, the 'Bianconeri' sports director Fabio Paratici acknowledged that there are talks about renewing Dybala.

"We have great relations. We are always talking and we are addressing the issue of renewal on a daily and weekly basis. We will see in the coming weeks," said the leader in 'Sky Sport'.

However, questioned by the possible rising demands of the Argentinean, Paratici was frank: "It is not easy to say whether it is right that in times of COVID-19 players like Paulo start thinking about different salary figures. It is a complicated discourse".
