Higuain, who spent last season on loan first at Milan and then at Chelsea, arrived at the club's medical centre on Wednesday morning, got out of the car and posed for photos with several fans.
'El Pipita', who turns 32 in December, still feels very connected to the club, and said goodbye to the fans before leaving to undergo his medical tests by putting his hand on his heart.
The ex-Real Madrid striker is waiting anxiously for his future to become clear, with Roma's sporting director Gianluca Petrachi confirming that Higuain is a target of theirs.
Meanwhile, the player's brother and agent Nicolás Higuain declared on his Twitter account that the player is not interested in playing for another Italian club that isn't Juventus.
Higuain signed for Juventus in 2016 for 90 million Euros from Napoli in what, at the time, was the most expensive transfer in the history of Italian football. He went on to score 55 goals in 105 games for the Italian champions, although his future at the club seems in doubt - especially with the Turin-based side not including the striker's return in any of their posts on social media.
