Juventus, in one of their usual excellent bits of business, got hold of Chiesa on a two year loan deal. They paid Fiorentina 10 million euros and they kept an option to buy him for a further 40 million. In total, 50 million for a player who is now worth 100 and above.
At that moment in time, it seemed a brilliant move and time has proved Juventus right. All the big clubs in Europe (and those who are looking to be big like Newcastle) are keen on him and Juventus are keen on that.
Now, all those who want to get hold of his services must know that even though the Turin based club are not going through their best moment financially, they will not give Chiesa away for nothing.
The Italian winger's market value is almost 100 million euros and if he carries on how he is playing, that will not stop increasing. The 23 year-old has got 37 caps for Italy so far.
