Juventus pulled seven points clear at the top of the Serie A standings on Saturday with a 3-1 victory over Atalanta.
The visitors to Turin entered the game on the back of a seven-game winning streak, and were unbeaten in their previous 10 outings.
Juve proved too strong on the night, though, with the reigning champions netting twice early on to take complete control of the tie.
There were just 12 minutes on the clock when Alex Sandro slipped past two opponents to slot home, and seven minutes later a towering header from Daniele Rugani doubled their advantage.
Mario Mandzukic put the finishing touches to a comfortable success on 64 minutes, with a late reply from Remo Freuler mere consolation for Atalanta.
