In Florence, Vlahovic's "no" was a major setback for them. Fiorentina had made him a renewal offer, but the centre forward declined it.
Juventus have been following Vlahovic's footsteps for a while and he could try and complete his signing next summer. But 'La Stampa' adds that the 'Bianconeri' will not be alone in the bidding war. Inter could join the equation.
According to the Italian paper, Inter are keeping a very close eye on Vlahovic to see what could happen. If Lautaro Martinez leaves, then they will go after the Fiorentina attacker.
Vlahovic's contract runs until 2023. Then, if Juve or Inter want him, they will have to reach a financial agreement with the club. And in this sense, they will not find it easy. 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' that Fiorentina will not settle for less than 90 million euros for him.
The latest source that last summer, Atletico Madrid put 70 million euros for Vlahovic. Afterwards, Juventus tried to sign him and they offered a loan deal with a compulsory purchase option of 60 million euros, a proposal which was also turned down by Fiorentina.
Juventus and Inter are promising to keep an eye in Florence. Vlahovic, in the meantime, remains calm and focussed at Fiorentina... at least untill the summer.
