The case against Dani Alves continues making headlines. The Brazilian footballer remains in prison, accused of rape, with his bail request denied.
Over the last few hours, the camera's of 'Codigo 10' a programme by 'Cuatro', got access to the decree of the judge overseeing the case. It contained several damning lines.
"It's curious that, if everything was fine, as Mr Alves suggests, after leaving the bathroom, they neither spoke to each other nor looked at each other", in relation to the attitudes of the footballer and the supposed victim.
The edict also cast doubt about the Brazilian's account of events before entering the bathroom: "Acting normal around him and chatting to him bears no relation to what happened in the bathroom, where there is no recording and the victims claims she was raped and forced to have sex with Mr Alves".
Finally, the edict also analyses the possible flight risk Alves poses: "Simply going to Brazil would put him beyond the reach of Spanish law, as Brazil will not extradite its own citizens. He has deep pockets, with no connection to our country, having now filed for divorce".
