According to 'RAC 1', Jorge Mendes is planning to put all his work into helping Barcelona and Atlético Madrid put their differences aside and reach an agreement over the next week.
Barça president Josep Maria Bartomeu assured that their had been negotiations over Griezmann's signing - something that Atleti quickly and strongly denied on Friday.
With no deal in sight, Griezmann will have to return to training on Sunday, and Atlético are planning to fine him if he doesn't show up. However, Jorge Mendes has a plan to try to resolve this mess.
According to 'RAC 1', the renowned agent plans to get the two clubs talking over Barcelona full-back Nelson Semedo, with Atlético needing reinforcements on the right-side of their defence.
In order to make Barcelona happy with this deal, Mendes will offer them the chance to sign Joao Cancelo from Juventus as his replacement. These moves would help Atleti and Barça get on the same page and could help facilitate a move for Griezmann.
