Joao Felix has been linked to Atletico Madrid

Although English newspapers have reported that City will pay the clause and make an offer for a considerable amout of money to buy the talented striker, 'Record' has now stated that Joao Felix is on the agenda for Atletico Madrid. The team, like many others in Europe currently, is undergoing some strucutral changes in their squad and could use the boost of talent and youth. 

Due to the fact that Antoine Griezmann could be leaving the Metropolitano, therefore allowing the club to gain about 120 million euros (as long as the team who buys him pay their clause before July 1), Joao Felix appears has now appeared as a suitable candidate to join the team. And it would not be a surprising transfer, as Benfica has supplied several players for the club in the past: Oblak, Simao, Raúl Jiménez, Salvio, Pizzi, Reyes...

Joao Felix has stood out in the Portuguese domestic league and in Europa League. At only 19 years old, he shines for his ability to percieve what is going on in the pitch while keeping the ball at his feet, as well as his ability to score goals.

In recent days, Juventus, encouraged by the disappointment in the Champions League, has also studied the signing of Joao Felix. According to 'Record', the midfielder would prefer other options before Atletico.

Simeone looks to the future after a campaign that began in an exciting way but, unless there's a miracle, will finish with his squad as seconds in La Liga. They need exciting reinforcements and Joao Felix meets the profile despite the difficulty of the transfer.
