Although English newspapers have reported that City will pay the clause and make an offer for a considerable amout of money to buy the talented striker, 'Record' has now stated that Joao Felix is on the agenda for Atletico Madrid. The team, like many others in Europe currently, is undergoing some strucutral changes in their squad and could use the boost of talent and youth.
Due to the fact that Antoine Griezmann could be leaving the Metropolitano, therefore allowing the club to gain about 120 million euros (as long as the team who buys him pay their clause before July 1), Joao Felix appears has now appeared as a suitable candidate to join the team.
