Joao Felix, after receiving the Golden Boy award: "I would like to play with Cristiano"

First it was Sergio Aguero and now Joao Felix. This Monday, the Atletico Madrid forward became the second Atleti player to receive the Golden Boy award, presented by 'Tuttosport', which recognises the best Under 21 player of the year in Europe. And it was Joao Felix who accepted the award during the gala, celebrated in Turin.
The Atletico Madrid footballer did not rule out any options for the future. Not in vain, he recognised that he would like to share a dressing room with Cristiano Ronaldo."A future at Juventus? Nobody knows what will happen, but I would like to play with Cristiano Ronaldo," he stated before those present in the capital of Lombardy.
The player also mentioned what he had fought to do in order to get this award. "I'm very happy. Those who are close to me know how hard I have worked to win this award. I'm very happy," he exclaimed with the golden ball trophy in his hands. The player remarked that "this prize is not won by just anyone" and recalled that "I always said it was my goal".
The striker thanked his family, friends and team mates: "They know what we've been through to be here". Joao Felix has impressed at an under-par Atletico, and he does it with great performances in spite of the lack of spark from Simeone's men. Something that, of course, has not gone unnoticed by those in charge of awarding the prestigious prize.
During the gala, Felix's agent, Jorge Mendes also spoke, who classes the youngster as "phenomenal". "He is very young but very intelligent, he takes it one step at a time and shows what he can do on the pitch. He must work hard," the Portuguese agent said. The Atletico family were represented by a delegation with a score of representatives including Enrique Cerezo and the sports director Andrea Berta.
Joao Felix could see video messages of congratulations his team mate Koke, and also received the affection of Bruno Lage, Benfica coach, and Pizzi, former Atletico player and now at the 'Eagles'.
