Concern hangs over Sevilla as one of their footballers could have got seriously injured. According to 'Goal', Jesus Corona had to leave the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan stadium on a stretcher and be taken to hospital in an ambulance.
Sevilla coach, Julen Lopetegui, gave the latest medical report on the Mexican player's injury: "We have to wait for tests. Incidents that happen in football. Let's hope the tests reveal it's very minor, but it's true that it doesn't look good."
The Basque coach is expecting the worst possible news both for the Mexican winger and for Sevilla, as he is a nailed-on starter in the XI.
In addition, Lopetegui ruled out Corona for the match against Valladolid next Friday: "It's an issue with his ankle apparently, but we're going to wait a bit. He's 100% ruled out for tomorrow."
