Jamie Vardy's V9 Academy graduate lands move to Crawley Town
The 23 year-old winger joined Jamie Vardy's V9 Academy as he attempted to find a way back into the professional game and his decision has been proven justified after he was handed a professional contract by the League Two side.
The winger had been on the radar of the club for some time, having scored 17 goals for Hendon in the Isthmian League Premier Division side last season. The club decided to make their move following a trial game at Vardy's academy, with the pace and dribbling ability of the 23 year-old particularly impressing Director of Football Selim Gaygusuz.
The V9 graduate has secured a two-year contract with the club subject to EFL approval, according to the club's website, and is the first of this year's crop from the academy to get a professional deal.
