James' future to be decided this month
Banfield, Porto, Monaco, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and...? James Rodríguez's career path is a well-trodden one, and he looks set to add another team to that list ahead of the next campaign.
After two seasons trying to force his way into the starting XI at Bayern Munich, the Colombian never really managed to fit in, and has struggled with injuries throughout much of this season.
Given that Bayern are reportedly not willing to activate the 42 million euro buyout clause in his loan contract, James looks set to end his time at the German giants having made 67 appearances and scored 15 goals.
The 27 year-old must now return to Madrid to learn where he will playing next season, with a move away likely as he doesn't feature in Zinedine Zidane's plans.
A new destination is likely to be announced this month, once the current season has reached its close, although the Germans do have until 15th June to decide if they want to keep the Colombian superstar.
Having already made 13 million euros off of his two-year loan in Bavaria, Real will now look to cash in on James, with PSG and Juventus mooted as potential destinations.
