It's not all about money: Rudiger turns down lucrative offer from Al-Ittihad

Centre-back Antonio Rudiger is committed to Real Madrid until 2026 and intends to honour his contract. Not even the millions of euros from Saudi Arabia have helped Al-Ittihad to change his mind.

The defender is clear that he will not pack his bags, at least not this summer. His goal is to continue wearing a Madrid shirt in the 2024/25 campaign.

Rudiger has no interest in trying his luck in Saudi Arabia, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano. He is delighted with the Real Madrid project and has no plans to leave the La Liga outfit.

The feeling is mutual. In the dressing room he is one of the most loved players, he is a key player for Carlo Ancelotti and has won over the board, so the German is non-transferable.

The player, who arrived in the summer of 2022 from Chelsea, has made 100 appearances for Real Madrid, scoring four goals and providing two assists. Moreover, he has won one Copa del Rey, one Spanish Super Cup, one La Liga, one European Super Cup, one Club World Cup and one Champions League.
