The veteran midfielder spoke to 'biIN Sports' folllowing the game and whilst the win extended Barca's lead at the top of La Liga to nine points, he refused to rule out any of the sides that are bringing up the rear, including Real.
"It's another step towards the league title. Another three points between us and Real and Atletico, but aside from the league table, I want to congratulate the team." he explained.
When asked if Real's hopes of defending their title were over, Iniesta was quick to reply: "No, were not ruling Real out, there are a lot of points left to play for. Sport and football have shown us numerous times that the impossible can happen, this is a marathon, not a sprint and we're going to try to keep going."
Finally, Iniesta gave his thoughts on the game itself, saying: "In the first-half they had a few dangeorus openings, but we started to restrict them and we took advantage when we were on top. We were much more comfortable in the second half, they were always looking for the one-on-one."
