Real Madrid's Institutional Relations Director Emilio Butragueno said they were "superior" in the 2-0 win over Celta Vigo four days after a match in London against Chelsea that was "very important for the club, the players and the fans".
"It has been a great week for us. The game in London was very important for the club, the players and the fans. Today we played a very complete game in which we were superior and we leave happy," he said on 'DAZN'.
On the other hand, Butragueno considered as "normal" the standing ovation for Luka Modric by the Santiago Bernabeu crowd as he is "a legend in the history of Real Madrid" and praised the Frenchman Eduardo Camavinga.
"It's a delight to watch him play, both at full-back and in midfield; he has great technical and physical ability. He makes decisions and comes out of complicated situations with amazing naturalness. He has taken on board what it means to play for Real Madrid and we are very hopeful about him considering his age," he said.
