"Bale has helped Real Madrid a lot with goals even in the finals. But this last season it seems that the only culprit is Gareth," said the coach in an interview for 'El Larguero' of the chain 'SER'.
The coach thinks Bale has not been the problem, and that he could even have a great future away from the Santiago Bernabéu: "The most important thing is to find the right team. If Tottenham is lucky enough to be champion it will multiply everything".
Meanwhile, the former Spurs coach also took the opportunity to underline the keys to the final: "Liverpool has history and Tottenham had other interests and historically has more weight. Now it's very much the same".
"It's going to be a match of more equality than is presumed, very closed. If they don't score goals early on, it will get very tense. That's where the big names have to appear. Mané and Salah at Liverpool and Kane, Eriksen, Son and Alli at Tottenham," he added.
