Yerry Mina's future may well be elsewhere than Barcelona. According to 'TMW, the Colombian's family have travelled to the Spanish city in order to plan the defender's future, given the lack of minutes he has played this season.
The 23-year-old's family, who also serve as his management, would reportedly welcome a transfer to a club that would enable him to play enough matches. The aim is that he could adapt to European football and return to Barca as a starting contender.
Under Valverde, Mina has suffered a fairly dismal campaign due a combination of a lack of confidence from the Barca coach and low-key performances. The defender was the subject of much criticism after the 'Blaugrana' ended their undefeated streak to Levante.
Mina arrived at Barcelona last January from Palmeiras and is on contract until 2022, and he will be anxiously awaiting to see if his name will be called-up for the Colombia squad ahead of the World Cup in Russia.
