When he arrived at Anfield, no supporter imagined how important he would be for the club. Salah, thanks to his performances, has let an indelible legacy at Liverpool, the club he has played for since 2017-18.
The Egyptian, together with Klopp who revived a club that was in trouble, have been the key men in a squad that won the Premier League and the Champions League. After losing the final in 2018, they won the Champions League final the following year against Tottenham.
The striker has made 198 appearances for Liverpool and his stats are incredible: 123 goals and 42 assists. Figures that put him among the club's greats.
Now, Salah's time at Liverpool could be coming to an end. The player, in comments to 'Sky Sports', hinted that he could depart.
"Nobody has spoken to me and therefore there's not much I can say. Nobody from the club has spoken to me and so I don't know anything," he told the cited media outlet.
His contract expires in 2023, but Salah could leave Liverpool in the summer.
