The Premier League club were forced to take action against academy coach Mark Phillips last month, after he was filmed attending a DFLA (Democratic Football Lad Alliance) march that was slammed for racist and islamophobic chants.
Phillips later defended the group in a series of posts on Twitter, and was subsequently suspended from his role as a coach at West Ham United's academy.
Following an in depth investigation into matters, West Ham United have reinstated Phillips in his role.
A club statement on the matter was released on Tuesday and read as follows:"West Ham United can confirm that following suspension and subsequent investigation, academy coach Mark Phillips has been reinstated to his role in accordance with employment law, and has been reminded of his responsibilities."
