Skriniar's possible departure from Inter Milan is far from over. PSG are still keeping an eye on the Slovakian centre-back in order to bring him into their ranks, while the 'Nerazzurri' are looking to renew his contract.
The Italian club and the player will meet in the coming hours to discuss his future. The board has prepared an offer to extend his contract beyond the end of this season for six and a half million per season, according to Nicolo Schira.
Beppe Marotta, CEO of the club, praised Skriniar: "He is a great professional and a very good player. He deserves to be captain. He was full of praise for the defender speaking to 'Sky Sport' after he set the club on course to qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League at the Camp Nou against FC Barcelona.
In addition, he also discussed the issue of his possible renewal: "If his will is the same as ours, there will be the possibility of reaching an agreement. We intend to negotiate and sign a new contract.
