Inter Milan don't want to lose one of their stars. According to 'SportMediaset', Inter are now working on the contract renewal of Lautaro Martínez for the future.

Lautaro Martínez has been one of the names linked with Barcelona. Barca have him on their agenda for future seasons, so Inter must work to keep ahold of the player.

According to the aforementioned source, Inter Milan intend to extend Lautaro Martínez's contract. For that, they will offer him a substantial wage increase, at the same time increasing his release clause.

In the summer, Lautaro could leave Milan for 110 million euros, a price that several of the top European clubs could afford, such as Barcelona.

In this way, Inter Milan want to make sure that they have one of their most decisive players and the brightest future of their team. In order to do so, they will have to convince the Argentinean.

Inter Milan have strengthened for the second half of the season and seasons to come. In this transfer market, they have signed Ashley Young, Victor Moses, and Christian Eriksen so far.

The bad news for Lautaro Martínez is the ban imposed by the Serie A. After being sent off against Cagliari, the player was banned for 2 matches for his protests and will miss the Milan derby.
