Inter prioritised by Lookman amid ongoing talks with Atalanta

Ademola Lookman has reached an agreement on personal terms with Inter Milan, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano. The Nigerian striker has expressed his desire to join the “Nerazzurri”, to whom he gives absolute priority as long as talks continue.
Negotiations between Inter and Atalanta continue to be active, also through intermediaries who facilitate contact between the two sides. Inter have already made a formal offer of 40 million euros, a figure that was rejected by Atalanta.
The Bergamo club maintains its valuation at around €50 million, which has led to an unresolved dispute. Lookman is coming off the back of an outstanding season with Atalanta, crowned by a performance in the Europa League final.
The player has made it clear that he is willing to wear the Inter shirt, as long as there is an understanding between the clubs. Atalanta's stance could harden if Inter do not improve their financial proposal in the coming days.
