Inter Milan have signed Argentina international Ever Banega on a three-year deal.

The 28-year-old has decided to sign for Roberto Mancini's side after his contract expired at Sevilla.

The midfielder scored nine goals in 45 games for Sevilla last season and won two Europa League titles in two years with the Andalusian outfit.

Banega has 47 caps for his country, scoring four goals and was part of the Argentina side that lost the Copa America final to Chile.

Inter Milan appear to be delighted with their new signing as their club president was full of praise for the midfielder.

"He's an extremely talented player, one of the best in the world in his position, and he's shown that at Sevilla and with Argentina," Erik Thohir said on the club's website.
