Inter give up on Lautaro and have now chosen his successor
Half of Europe want Lautaro. Madrid yearn for hIm, Chelsea and United are not losing track of him... it is unknown where his next destination will be, but everything seems to indicate that it will not be at Inter. So much so that the board have now found a successor. The Italian press affirm that the favourite is Aubameyang.
For some time, Inter have had the option of Aubameyang on the table. Milan like him and he has been becoming more and more popular to occupy the spot that Lautaro leaves.
Aubameyang is under contract at Arsenal until 2021. For now, he hasn't renewed it and Inter want to make the most of that situation to convince him to try his luck in the Serie A.
Arsenal are willing to listen to offers for him. They know that, if Aubameyang doesn't want to renew, this summer will be the last opportunity to cash in on his sale.
Aubameyang could cost Inter around 70 million euros if they finally decide to go for him. 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' state that Inter have a plan B: they also like Tahith Chong of Manchester United, who wouldn't cost a penny as his contract at United expires in the summer.
