Inter Milan are in the midst of the search for a new player to bolster the Italian club defence. The refusal of their defender Skriniar to renew his contract has prompted them to start contacts to find a replacement.
According to 'Gazzetta dello Sport', the Lombardy side are reportedly interested in signing Lille centre-back Tiago Djalo. The defender would replace the Slovakian at the heart of the 'Nerazurri' defence next season.
The Portuguese would not leave for less than 15 million euros, an amount on which the French club are considering and from which they would begin to negotiate. Furthermore, it could be as much as 20 million euros, as revealed by the aforementioned media.
The Italian club are working quickly to fill the place of the current captain of the team, who is currently looking to join Paris Saint-Germain. For now, the player will continue to wear the captain's armband.
