Inter are the reigning Serie A champions and are dreaming of, why not, repeating the 'Scudetto'. At the moment, they are third in Serie A with 17 points, just four behind current leaders Napoli.
But they understand in Milan that they still need a couple of tweaks to the squad to be perfect. 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' predicts two signings in January for the 'Nerazzurri'.
According to the Italian newspaper, Inter have on the table the names of attacker Luka Jovic, from Real Madrid, and midfielder Nahitan Nandez, from Cagliari.
It is not the first time that Jovic has been mentioned as a possible 'Nerazzurri' reinforcement. In previous editions, the Serbian's agent has even offered him to Inter on several occasions.
'La Gazzetta dello Sport' believes that Inter will try to sign him for the second half of the 2021-22 season. It highlights his "strength, his experience" and, above all, his price, as "he is not too expensive".
The Italian newspaper also quotes Inter CEO Marotta's words during the 'Festival dello Sport' in Trento: "In January, two signings could arrive for Inzaghi".
'La Gazzetta dello Sport' has no doubt, those two possible reinforcements that Marotta is talking about are Jovic and Nahitan Nandez. However, to be able to afford the arrival of the Madrid player, the 'Nerazzurri' would first have to let Alex Sanchez, who is paid 7 million euros a year, leave the club. If he manages to terminate his contract, then they can go for the Real Madrid player.
