Bruno Fernandes shone last season in the Sporting de Portugal squad. A midfielder with a lot of promise and an eye for goal which has placed him high on the European market, something which will not stop Tottenham from going for him.
According to 'The Telegraph', the plague of injuries that Spurs are suffering this season has meant Mourinho has had to ask the board for an economic reinforcement in the name of Bruno Fernandes.
The Portuguese footballer was close to arriving at Tottenham last summer. In fact, it was revealed that he chose the London club over Manchester Untied. And this January his arrival there could finally become a reality.
Tottenham are looking to strengthen a team plagued by injuries. Mourinho has lost, with least and most seriousness, Kane, Sissoko, Lloris, Ndombele, Danny Rose and Ben Davies.
But Bruno Fernandes is not the coach's only request. According to the same source, Nathan Ake, Bournemouth defender, is also on the British team's agenda.
