Gareth Bale is injured. If everything goes well, 'The Cardiff Express' could reappear at the end of October. But it will all depend on how he feels and, finally, what the doctors say.
Jonathan Barnett, his controversial agent, spoke about his fitness. He took advantage to have a dig at Zidane, who was the Real Madrid coach previously and did not get on well with the Welshman.
"Injuries and disagreements in the last few seasons with Zinedine Zidane have held him back," he told 'The Mirror'.
Barnett thinks his luck could have changed under Ancelotti: "It's a shame with Carlo Ancelotti back as manager he got the injury this season. Unfortunately he tore his hamstring so it's a long way back."
That bad relationship with Zidane encouraged Bale to go out to Tottenham on loan. "At Spurs, there wasn't a fall out (with Mourinho). I just think they didn't see football in the same way. Let's just say it wasn't the best return to a club in history."
The agent did not speak about the player's future, but in England they think he could still return to the Premier League. According to 'The Sun', Arsenal have proposed a swap deal with Real Madrid involving Lacazette and Bale.
Lastly, he once again made Bale's priority clear, although he has said on more than one occasion how important Wales is in his career. "It's a dream for him to play in the World Cup finals with Wales. That's the most important thing for him, I believe."
