Andres Iniesta has been in Japan for two and a half years. He ended his highly successful Barca career then after joining the Catalans as a kid from Albacete. Now he has played 50 times for Vissel Kobe.
He brought it up with a victory. His team beat Consadole Sapporo 2-3. Yamaguchi was the star of the show. He got a brace which was key to Kobe winning. The former Barca was very active on the field and also played an important role.
Iniesta himself mentioned the landmark on his official Twitter page. "Happy to celebrate my 50 games for Vissel Kobe with a victory! Let's keep going!!," he wrote. The tweet also included an edited image which sees him appear with the number 50 written in figures and in Japanese.
Iniesta is not just in Japan to play little and make a lot of money. The Spaniard has started 46 of the games he has played and he is a key member of the team.
