The young team's entrapment in a cave in their native Thailand brought the footballing world together in joy when they were freed earlier in the week.
After the news broke that the team had emerged, FIFA had hoped to invite the team known as the 'Wild Boars' to the World Cup final, but were informed that they were not in a suitable physical condition to travel to Moscow.
Instead of that, FIFA president Gianni Infantino has invited the team to the FIFA world player of the year awards in London on 24th September.
"It touched the whole world but in particular football because it was a team, something we could all relate to, and I thank God there was a happy ending." Infantino said.
"So we will invite them to the FIFA Best Awards in London and there will certainly be some other activities in Thailand."
On top of the invitation to London, the team have been invited to Old Trafford by Man Utd to watch a Premier League game and players such as Kyle Walker have offered to send them football kits.
