Despite the current season not having reached its conclusion, Barca are already thinking ahead to the 2022/23 campaign. At the Camp Nou, they are scheming ways of generating economic resources to facilitate signing their top transfer targets this summer.
But if one thing is clear at the club, it is that they already have some of the best characters in their ranks. Their committment has been there for all to see this campaign, despite 'Los Cules' having a challenging season and the delicate economic situation at the club.
Barca can breathe easy. The club can count on all of their current players for the coming season. No one has spoken of wanting to move on this summer.
'Marca' suggests that the recent renewal of Araujo's contract with 'Los Cules' until 2026 could spark others. Sergi Roberto is also on the brink of ensuring his future at the club. In the same way, 'Los Azulgranas' are also in talks with Dembele in terms of extending his current contract.
Gavi and Nico are also looking to continue to wear the Barca shirt for seasons to come. The two home grown talents are happy at the club and both dream of a successful career at the Camp Nou.
Finally, Dani Alves. The Brazilian's contract is due to expire in June. The player returned to Barca to help them out of their difficult situation but he has made it clear that he will continue playing for 'Los Azulgranas' for as long as they want him to. Nothing concrete has been confirmed in terms of his renewal however, both club and player are ready to soon reach an agreement.
