Ernesto Valverde's side have started the season like a house on firely, largely thanks to their free-scoring attacking unit.
The trio made up of Messi Suarez and Dembele already boasts nine goals to its name in four games and appears to have in its sights the tally of 131 plundered by the 'MSN' under the orders of Luis Enrique.
That promises to be a herculean task, with Messi, Neymar and Suarez having all performed to superhuman levels back in 2015/16. However, with Messi seemingly having a point to prove following his World Cup disappointment, Suarez having started the season in good form and Dembele now having adapted to life in Catalonia, anything is possibel.
The 'MSN' quicklly gained notoriety for their attacking ability, surpassing the 100 goal mark in each and every one of their three season together at the Camp Nou (2014/15, 2015/16 and 2016/17).
Their debut season brought an impressive 122 goals between them (58 Messi, 39 Neymar and 25 Suarez), along with 66 assists to fire the 'Blaugrana' to a historic treble.
The following campaign saw that tally bettered, with 131 goals (59 Suarez, 41 Messi and 31 Neymar) and 81 assists as they swashbuckled their way to a LaLiga and Copa del Rey double.
Finally, Neymar's final season at Barcelona in 2016/17 brought a slight drop in performance, with 111 goals (54 Messi, 37 Suarez and 20 Neymar) and 66 assists.
Now, with the Brazilian very much forgotten and Dembele fit and fitted in, a new Barcelona attacking trio looks to write its name in the club's history books.
