"If there’s a team that can turn around a 3-0 loss, it’s Real Madrid"

Real Madrid right-back Lucas Vazquez, at the end of the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final in which they lost 3-0 to Arsenal, called for a comeback at the Santiago Bernabeu, since, in his opinion, “if there is a team who can turn it around”, it is them.
“It's complicated, of course, but if there is a team that can turn this around, it's us. With our fans and our stadium. Wednesday is going to be a totally different game and between all of us we are going to do it,” he said on ‘Movistar’.
“We are not used to linking two defeats in a row. All that's left is to work, to trust in ourselves more than ever. This team deserves that confidence and we are going to give everything to turn the tie around,” he added.
He also acknowledged the poor level of his team, especially in the second half in which they conceded the three goals of the match.
“I think we didn't play well. Arsenal played a great game. They created chances, they were able to put us under pressure and we didn't find our game. We had some occasional chances, but we weren't able to keep long possessions, put them in their own half... and the difference makes it that way,” he added.
“In the second half, we didn't know how to step up. We lacked continuity in the game, had a little more ball possession... We couldn't play a good game,” he continued.
