Jordi Cruyff is clear. If Messi leaves Barcelona, the club will be very different. Their structuring could change drastically. In an interview with 'El Larguero' of the radio station 'Ser', he remarked on the Argentine's situation and also commented on the upcoming elections.
"When you're 34 years old, you think about today and a little bit about tomorrow. But, when you've been in a place for 20 years, it gives you perspective. And that he has never played in another jersey. That has a special appeal and not everyone can say that. If Messi doesn't stay, Barca's construction will be different", he opined.
Now focused on the elections, he said. "It is important that these elections are made before the due date. We are almost in March and this should have been done in November or December. Besides, if the economy is difficult, if there are interesting free players, maybe in March they are no longer free".
His words were in response to reports that he is linked to the candidacy of Víctor Font, one of the candidates for the presidency of Barcelona. The main one is Joan Laporta, who is the favourite because of his influence on the masses.
