Every time that Faustino Asprilla opens his mouth, it's always significant. The ex-footballer never leaves anyone indifferent and the James-Zidane-Real Madrid trio is often his favourite topic of conversation.
The ex-Newcastle and Parma player, who not long ago attracted attention for some harsh words against the French manager, again analysed the situation of his compatriot at Los Blancos.
On this occasion, Asprilla revealed what he would do, from a financial point of view, if he were James. And his explanation is not wasteful.
"If I were James, thinking about money, I would stay at Madrid. Have Zidane bench him if he wants. In the long run, he'll make more money that way", he started analysing on 'Blu Radio'.
And Asprilla thinks that the Colombian star must see out his contract to leave the Bernabéu for free, and in this way, aim for a better salary at his next club.
"It's zero cost, you get your hand ripped off by clubs like Manchester United and Inter. Now, if he left, James would earn less. And he's not going to leave for a team for less money", said the former player. We will have to see if the current Madrid player listens to his compatriot or, conversely, looks for a new adventure at the end of the season.
