"If Araujo doesn't play, it doesn't matter"

Ferran Torres is well aware of Ronald Araujo's high level. Both players share a dressing room at the Camp Nou. For that reason, the Spanish player want to avoid crossing him as a rival in the World Cup.

The winger spoke in a press conference before the match against Costa Rica. The media asked him if he believed that Araujo, who has been injured since September, would be in good form for the biggest competition.

"If Ronald Araujo doesn't play, it doesn't matter...One player less for Uruguay. They have a very good team," he joked. Torres knows that his teammate could be one of the best footballers to play for Uruguay.

Otherwise, he said that Araujo deserves the best: "I hope he recovers well. It will be perfect if he can play in his first World Cup," added Ferran Torres.
