Zlatan Ibrahimovic is about to sign a new contract at AC Milan. In Italy they are reporting that the deal is done and that the Swedish striker will sign a contract at the club until June 2023.
In other words, Ibra will play at the incredible age of 41 at AC Milan, in professional football and at the top level, in such a demanding competition like Serie A.
After being at clubs the size of PSG, Man Utd and LA Galaxy, Ibra returned to AC Milan in summer 2019. Since then, the former Inter Milan man has been at AC in which he has made 159 appearances, scored 92 goals and provided 35 assists.
But on 30th June, his AC Milan contract came to an end which meant he became a free agent. A situation which could change in the coming days when the Italians announce the signing of the new contract.
According to Fabrizio Romano, an expert in transfer news, the veteran striker will have a salary of between one and 1.5 million euros net plus add-ons depending on his performances.
