Zlatan Ibrahimovic joined Manchester United this summer on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain. He penned a one-year deal with the option for a further year.
The club's directors did not want to offer him a long-period contract in the beginning due to his age, as he is already 35 years old. They do not know, if he will be physically fit in the future.
However, the situation has changed after six months. The Swede scored 15 goals in 24 appearances and is one of the league's top goalscorers. However, he doesn't know yet whether he wants to stay with the Red Devils or not.
He said the other day after his side's victory over Watford: "I have to score 100 goals. I have the option to stay a further year but we haven't activated yet. I think we have to see and wait."
His team-mate Martial added: "When he plays, he plays good. He is not a guy who talks a lot. He is calm and very professional. He always tries to give his best whether it is in the training or on the pitch."
