Ibrahimovic: 'I could've been President of the USA'

The controversial Swede made to move to the MLS in March as he swapped Manchester United for LA Galaxy.

That move has gone well so far, with the veteran striker plundering 12 goals in his frst 15 games for the club, with only three players leading him in the scoring charts, all of which have played more games than Ibrahimovic.

Now, the 36-year-old has made a typically boastful claim, insisting that he would be the President of the USA if he had move to the coutry 10 years earlier.

When asked how he has changed the culture of football in the US, he simply replied: "I don't know if I changed it, I just keep doing my job. They're lucky I didn't come 10 years ago because I would be the President today."

Unfortunately for Ibrahimovic, US Presidential candidates must be born on American soil or on one of America's overseas territories.
