In statements made to 'Bethard', the LA Galaxy striker said he believed Kane to be one of the best forwards in the world.
"When I watched him in England I thought he was a good striker who had the capacity to grow," Ibrahimovic commented. "He has done everything very well so far, but to play in a great club and perform well is different to playing in a normal club - with all due respect to Tottenham."
The Swedish veteran also stressed that in order to be considered among the world's best, it's necessary to win titles. "I've seen players in that type of club that are good, but when they go to a great one it's different. I think that Kane can have success, but he has to leave. Players are remembered for what they win."
"Tottenham have a good team, but are not at a level where they can win everything - even though they have a fantastic manager [in Mauricio Pochettino]."
Ibrahimovic has also recently declared his ambition to break every record possible in the coming MLS season, with LA Galaxy playing their opening game against Chicago Fire on March 3.
